Token of Perfection

Well I haven't made a fully public comment about this until I knew for sure we had a perfect baby. The great folks at Vanderbilt confirmed it today... Our baby is PERFECT! He had two tests done today. One to make sure all his upper GI parts are where they are supposed to be, and one to make sure his cough was not a result of his reflux getting into his lungs. The underlying reason for seeing the specialist is that he has been a "spitter" from day one and at his 4 month doctor visit he had not gained enough weight to stay on a growth curve. He has always been on the lowest one but at this visit he went straight out in a flat line. So... now that we know his pipes are all clear we just have to pray for a curve! If he will just make a curve they will leave him alone and just say he is small.

Our visit was at 8:00 this morning so Wesson and I headed up to Nashville yesterday to spend the night with Aunt Ginny and Uncle Scott. Lee didn't go because they said only one person could go back with him and he knew that battle wasn't worth his breath. At the last minute last night, we went to see Cousin Leigh and Baby Will. That was a treat to hang out and play, play play. The best part to me was that Ginny posed the Kroger Salad Bar as an option for supper. It was awesome!!!

This is Aunt Ginny and Wesson ready to hit the door at 7:30 this morning. Then... Our Token of Perfection... I (and obviously Wesson) am so thankful that getting this cool itty bitty hospital gown was just a quick and minor bump in the road. We have a healthy baby that is just fine and dandy being in the 3rd percentile for his age. He is the sweetest, most hilarious baby and I am so glad he is in our lives.
